Hello, I’m Marina!

loveMKflorals came about as a result of my never-ending love of colors, petals, tendrils, textured foliages, and drapey vines. My earliest memories are and have always been of flowers. In my childhood, I was known as the neighborhood flower their and every neighbor had their eye out for the blonde toddler sneaking past their garden gate to steal red tulips and climbing roses.

To this day, every hike takes me longer than what is considered acceptable, because I want to stop and examine every texture and every pop of color on the trail. I believe the earth sings of God’s joy in flowers. Every season is a symphony of blooms (even winter with its everlasting, dried stems that stand as a reminder of the spring to come).

My purpose is, first and foremost, to give glory and honor to God. What better way to glorify him than by sharing the love and passion he has given me for all things floral. One of my greatest joys is bringing a bride’s ideations to life. Every bloom and every branch and every tendril is a word that writes the story of my clients’ special life events.

When I am not flowering, you can find me creating through other mediums (i.e. sewing, crochet, knitting, and crown design, etc.) If I ever need a break from the creative (which is rare!), you can find me hiking, rock climbing, snowboarding, and spending time with family and friends.
